My mother's family originate from Mount Bures, I think they were millers. My grandmother's name being Nellie ida Newman. Does this tie in with your husband's family?

If you look on the Mount Bures web site you will see that John was involved with the Thatchers Arms and the local Workhouse.(Solliers)
