REV WILLIAM DAVIES

Post by chris of carshalton »

MY GREAT UNCLE WAS THE REV WILLIAM DAVIES. HE BACAME RECTOR OF MOUNT BURES IN 1919 AND WAS STILL THERE
IN 1932 ACCORDING TO THE CROXFORD DIRECTORY ON ANCESTRY.CO.UK

IF ANYBODY HAS FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT HIM I WOULD BE PLEASED TO HEAR FROM THEM.

Christopher,

I am reasonably certain there are no longer any records held locally, they were all taken to the Chelmsford Record Office.
However you could try the local Vicar.
Mount Bures comes under the Parish of Wormingford

Henry (Vicar) may be able to point you in the right direction
