I am searching for info on the Stedman family several of whom were born in Mount Bures between 1770 and 1800

Are you aware the Stedman family owned the local workhouse at mount bures

Hi Jeff,
I beleive my Gx Grandfather (Thomas Stedman) was born in Mount Bures either 1777 on some trees or 1786
married to Olive/Olave Golding

Thomas Stedman born 1786 married Mary Ann Stebbing - think you may have the wrong one. Penny
