I am the Great Grandson of Charles Deaves Builder1857- 1935 My Grandfather was Stanley Wheeler Deaves
Charles Deaves eldest son,
He was Capt of the Home Guard during WW2.
My late Father Capt Richard Gerald Deaves served in Burma during WW2.
I sold the last remaining connection with the village in 1983.
I have G/ grandfather will. his estate in 1935/ 36 was valued at over £100, 000

I would like to hear from anyone with a connection with the Deaves family
