Braintree District Council has decided to include Bures Water Meadow, Colchester Road, in its List of Assets of Community Value.
The listing will last for a period of five years.
Hopefully, this will give it protection from any Development



July 2023 the land between the River Stour and the
Colchester Rd, was offered by Auction but not Sold
Seeing this land flooded during Storm Babet in Oct 23, must surely put an end the speculation of more housing.

October 2023 with Storm Ciaran the flooding was far worse
