could soon be sailing through the picturesque River Stour. During May 2004 the Environment Agency held a power boat rally adjacent to the Millennium Bridge to gauge public opinion, as to the possibility of powered craft on the Stour |

 | More than 60 people enjoyed rides in powered canoes and were able to see first hand the difference between paddle and small powered boats. About
90% of the visitors were in favour of "small powered boats" using the
river. By small it means electric powered and not larger outboard motor vessels. |
