was once known as "The Great Orchard Field" and can
be dated back to at least the 1837 tithe map
It
was part sold in the 1970`s to become the housing estate known
as Friends Field.
The
remainder being sold in 2012 to become a new development of 35
residential properties. now known as Pikes Marsh
