In 1954 John joined Church`s Seeds in the High Street,
He commenced work in the warehouse and then onto Seed Testing.
Later to become a Director
and the Company Secretary until he retired in 1993
Johns family connection
with Church`s was through Freda Ineson
Brian Church, John, Chris
Church, Edgar Warden and Anthony Church dated 1989.
However in 2002, was John was asked to compile the history of the
Company, to celebrate its Centenary
The book (left) was subsequently published.
