Celebation Dinner for the Employees.

Mr Herbert Turner of Corn Hall and an employer of The Tannery, invited his twenty one staff to a dinner at the Angel Hotel in honour of his first born daughter and her baptism which was held at St Marys Church

In the 1881 census Herbert was listed as a "Tanner employing 17 hands".
